I'm just curious as to where people fit their valves for their air bags.

I put mine here.

Wouldn't that be a bit fiddly with camper on though?

I have a 150mm base screwed onto the bottom of my camper to raise it above the Navara's roof bars so I can get at the electrics and the rear step no problem. The reversing camera still works fine too.

I don't have a fill valve anyway at the moment as I don't need one,
my electrics though are beside tow bar and i'd love to move them as its the one inconvenient part of the hook-up.

did you read through Rubberrat's procedure for preparing to camp & what did you think

How do you fill your airbags with no valve?

I did read the guide. It's very informative for the non initiated and a lot of effort has gone into it. Slightly different from my procedure though.

The airbags are filled with 2 Presto valves piped directly to each airbag with a portable 12v compressor to a preferred pressure normally somewhere between 60 & 80 psi

I didn't even think about taking the air lines into my cab. It would have been a good option though.

I tow a trailer so my electrics need to be next to my tow bar. I fashioned a splitter to take the current from the 13 pin socket on my Navara to the 13 pin plug on my camper and to the 7N and 7S plugs on my trailer.

With reference to your 150mm spacer for your Navara roofbars. I to have an additional base for my Navara setup so I to can clear my roofbars.
I'm thinking of removing the roofbars though, as they're not used that often. Thus reducing the overall height of the camper & hopefully making the drag less & gaining a mile or so to the gallon :)
