Demountable motorhome/camper and pickup for sale.
Leisure Campers Skarosser EC6L 2007, fitted to a double cab Ford Ranger Limited 3.2l Auto 2016.
Built in Arctic Sweden, the demountable unit (often described as a Tardis!) is high quality, well built and insulated to cope with the environment it is from.
There is a large double bed over the pickup cab with an opening skylight above, seating for four with a removable table which can be used to make a further double. On the left side is a two burner hob and sink with hot and cold water and a large and expandable worktop. Behind this is a decent size heated wardrobe.
On the right is a 100l Electrolux 3 way fridge with freezer compartment, large mirror on door. To the rear of this is a cubicle containing a manual flush cassette toilet with sink, mirrored cupboard and shower.
There are plenty of overhead and other storage lockers and drawers throughout. Central heating and hot water is by an Alde wet system (radiators) run on gas or mains electricity. The gas locker contains two bottles. There is a fitted side awning, separate rear porch awning and an external shower point. A ladder allows access to the roof which has a roofrack, there is a roof box that I removed as I don't need it.
The leisure battery is charged by the vehicle when the engine is running or via the built in charger when on a mains hookup. There is an internal 60l water tank and a 45l grey water tank. I am the second owner.
The Ranger has the more powerful 3.2l diesel engine (no adblue), hills are not a problem! Heated leather seats, the driver's one being electrically adjustable. Cruise control, air conditioning, heated windscreen, auto wipers and lights. 47,000 miles (will go up a little with use). Full service history.
The demountable (attached via four turnbuckles to eyes fitted to the bed) is removed via four jack legs. This gives you the versatility of a pickup and allows the demountable to be left on a site if desired. The high ground clearance and switchable 4wd allows you to go more or less anywhere with the motorhome.
I have had the demountable for seven years and the Ranger, which replaced a Hilux, three years. In that time I have had a lot of fun and visited a lot of out the way places but feel it is time for a change. I will be sorry to see it go.
