Winterized camper yesterday, (well threw a cover over it)
I know the hardcore camping element here will be planning further outings up to and including December but there's nothing here on the calendar until next May at least
Excited.
Just back from collecting my latest ebay purchase from Oxford.
An 8 Inch astronomical reflecting telescope.
My last one, some 6 odd years ago was only a 4 1/2 inch. As part of my things to see I worked my way around Jupiter and its moons, the moon, in all its phases, Saturn, with its rings, and even a bit of solar projection on the house wall. (Sunspots and things)
I need to do a bit of research and repair on the new telescope but, will be revisiting past viewings, and hope to search out a few deep space nebulae.
It's not as if I don't have enough to do on these cold dark evenings but it was such a bargain that I had to go for it.
I never will get my seat cushions finished

2016 Ford Ranger "Wildtrack" 4x4
Just back yesterday from little weekend break in Pershore really pretty place also saw Slipstone just down the road well worth visiting for Christmas gifts
winterizing the tractor this morning,
anti-freeze in coolant system, failing that move it into a poly tunnel nearby where its not exposed to rough weather
Loaded camper today for weekend in North Yorkshire.
The water heater drains itself when it below 3 degrees so will have to keep the camper above that even when we're not in it. Probably best to keep some background heat on anyway otherwise takes too long to heat up. We'll see.
