I would show you the solar panel too but had a bit of a crisis as the sikkaflex did not bond the panel to the roof
So its not the nicest way of doing it but I used my trusty enternabond tape and that seems to have sorted the issue

Looks like I might just get a mini emergency roll of this tape............You never know when it'll come in handy

Don't use it with gloves on, it bonded to my gloves and I could not separate them so scratch one set of perfectly good gloves
I carry it in my tool kit - great stuff

So is this like an exterior gaffa tape,
we manufactured some double sided tape that I use on all sorts of tasks and thats held my PV panels on the roof for a couple of years.
(as I wouldn't drill holes in the roof)

No this is gaffer tapes big big brother
I think it comes from flashing tape used in building to replace lead, once on you will not shift it easily and its UV light proof too, I have sealed every external seam on my big Iveco - its not the neatest of stuff but its now watertight
