So its on again!
Carl uses the airfield himself and has kindly got it back on the diary again after our disappointing email some time back
The venue

Couple of miles off M6/M1 then A14 between Leicester and Northampton,
Cost will be £15 per pitch (no power) two people & Dog if you have one (strictly controlled on leads of course)
they have toilets and showers a bar and small canteen offering both snacks and full meals,
certainly glider flights will be available at under £30 each, potentially a hovercraft group may be there offering rides for petrol money,

Looks like we are collecting money on this so I need to know what you feel about next July

Ummm interesting - I used to glide with my Uni gliding club at Lasham 30 odd years ago! Jan bought me a trial motorised flying lesson a couple of years ago - I was fine in pitch but tended to be too extreme in roll which must be a throwback to gliding.

We'd certainly be interested.

And there's the off-road course alongside normally plays host to Toyota club events so not punishing enough for those gin palaces', fishing centre beside that and a village pub across the field behind the soaring centre

Re-reading Martin's post I'm bound to say I'll award extra internets for completing a barrel roll successfully,
either in Landroverr or glider :D
