Re: 80'sTischer & Tandy (and other) campers
Thought I've seen these in brochures and (One) pictures on here of one on the road, I've never seen one myself yet,
would be interesting to know how many of them still exist

Make you wonder who the target audience were for those campers

It can be a little more insane! Bischofberger made really cool V dub caddy conversions, both fixed and demountable. They had also an odd extended V dub T25, just by adding an extra long 'butt' to the van, but the Audi wins in 'coolfactor'.
Veni, vidi, velcro.

It is a Spartan Starcraft as stated a kit car - produced in Nottingham - there were 2 versions 4 wheeler and 6 wheeler - Usually using the P100 not a Cortina. The P100 shared the Cortina wings and front door of 2 door model - used Transit Hubs 5 stud wheels. I know of someone restoring one at the moment.

Sorry for late reply - eventually I worked out how to find your post.
Those bonnet catches are typical kitcar - most shocking thing about it is due to the lack of ground clearance, and forethought during the design stage, the fuel tank is inside the habitation area!
