Hi I'm Poppi from East Devon. Got my little Daihatsu pick up/romahome last May and love her to bits.

She came with the name Daisy and has so far cost me in total about £2500 to purchase ,

have a stainless exhaust made and buy a new 3 way fridge and re upholstered her as that is my line of work.
Have found i need to get a new leisure battery this season and solar panel set up so will be looking into that soon.
I am a 51 yr old single lady who is looking to join like minded people on meets. :)

Hi Poppi from Devon & welcome to the forum.
If you have any questions then please just ask away.
There's a couple of folks on here with solar panel setups who could advise you which way to go :-)

Hi poppi, we see these romahomes come up for sale quite regular now and they look ideal actually for getaway-at-weekenders
Solar power is something I and a few of us have to help top-up batteries off hook-up.
On the meets issue see our '2015 social' thread as we are in pretty Matlock derbyshire in June a growing group of us, come and join us

hi Poppi and welcome to the site,
depends what you want from the solar, even a small inexpensive set up will maintain leisure battery and isn't hard to install
would be a panel to go on roof, a small controller (to prevent battery damage from overcharging) and that feeds straight into leisure battery

would be nice to see a photo of daisy sometime

Hi Poppi, welcome. I used to run a Romahome, a Duo. I only parted with it for pure vanity reasons, It was incredibly well built and cleverly designed.
I miss that 50mpg!

We have a porpoising club too
