So my question is: when I replace the front shocks/springs, should I upgrade the front too and bring it higher and in-line with the rear or should I bite the bullet and return to not-so-heavy duty rear leaf springs and a normal arrangement at the front?
Lift kits?
Lift kits?
Hi, I have a Geocamper on a 2012 Hilux 2.5 extracab. I was doing alot of overlanding in it (Morocco/Pyrenees/Albania/Greece/Turkey) and have broken a few rear leaf springs in the process
. I had it weighed once and I was at max weight so I upgraded to heavy duty leaf springs but this raised the back to the extent that it has damaged the front springs
. I now need to change out the front suspension.
So my question is: when I replace the front shocks/springs, should I upgrade the front too and bring it higher and in-line with the rear or should I bite the bullet and return to not-so-heavy duty rear leaf springs and a normal arrangement at the front?
