Hi All

I am new here and I am on a serious hunt for a demountable camper to pair up with my 2017 Nissan Navara (double cab). I have seen a Ranger camper (similar to Apollo range I think) which has piqued my interest. a couple of questions:

1. Any known issues with these/things to check?

2. Does anyone have one mounted to Nissan Navara NP300 - if so, how are you securing it?

Many thanks

Craig

Hello,
Ranger (sometimes branded 'Nomad') campers from Lancashire not to be confused with Apollo,
Simon doesn't make the campers much now, concentrating instead converting vans to motorhomes,

Though similar in construction to the Apollo they were constructed with a lot more thought and still come up for sale here occasionally.

Like most other campers here, they generally attach with a link or turnbuckle in each corner hanging from mount on underside, down to a corresponding hook you'll need to install through floor of your pickup

Many thanks. That is all useful stuff.

So is the Ranger (Nomad) a better option than an Apollo?

Apollo ownership usually ends in acrimony as they don't age well and weren't that well put together in first place,

There are a couple on Facebook marketplace, and been there awhile,
Ranger/Nomad preferable and with some resale potential later on
