Europe adventure 1995 what truck?

Hello.
I'm both new to the site and new to dismountable campers.
I've always had converted vans but stumbled across an add for a dismountable Europe adventure when looking for a new van.
A eurouka moment. The answer to all my previous van issues. I'd never seen one before. However before buying it straight offI thought I could ask the experienced people here if they new what could carry it? The current owner has it on a 2006 single cab l200. I have two babies and would need a double or at least king cab for it to work. Does anyone know of any combinations that could work?
I can collect on a flatbed trailer and look for truck later but would be good to know what to look for. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Konrad

Need to see a picture ideally but suspect it would probably be designed for single cab back then,
you might get away with kingcab and that floor length camper but a double cab wouldn't have a long enough loadbed and it would protrude too far back to be safe

Hi Konrad & Welcome to the DCG Forum

I would say that is only good for a single cab pick up.

Have a look at the 'Too much overhang' thread & you will see some other photo's of mis matched combinations.

Hope that helps. I would suggest with there being four of you to get a Double cab & a De-mountable to suit.

Single cab definitely,
loaded on anything else it will overhang out the back too much meaning way too much weight behind rear axle and probably a snapped chassis as a result,
would also be a handful cornering, as above continue watching our sales thread for something a bit more modern
(but not Apollo)

Have a read through the buyers guides cheat sheets for all the questions you need to be asking a seller
