I think most of the soft wet wood is now cut out, so rest will just sand back and I will treat it .

Ply cut to overall shape

Hole cut for the casette toilet, template used was the metal skin which I had to remove to get at the wood

Hole cut for door frame which was actually easier than I thought,
Next job is to take it all off again and seal with varnish.
Still have to get the ally skin sorted have found a localish caravan repair place which say they may have some offcuts I could use.

URL & IMG tags are duplicating - Until I take a moment to look at why I'm manually deleting the IMG tags from Photobucket.

Excellent thread there and proves that nothing is to much to deal with. I'm handy with the tool bag but initially wouldn't have taken that kind of job on, but after seeing this I wouldn't be squeamish.

You get down to it, we are still only talking 'wooden box' when all said & done,
repairs coming along OK I'd say what else can you fix?

(hmmm I wonder if he can weld as well)

Bit further on today started the waterproofing of the ply one coat on has to dry 24hrs.
Made up a plate plus infill from the bottom floor which had rotted out (may be a 3 inch sq)to fix the bottom jack plate. As the jack plate is fixed length the thickness is critical. Might need a bit of the light touch with a hammer to get it all to fit.
Hmm the sealent look a bit messy must smarten that up
