Plan for the weekend sounds pretty good to us.

We're still deciding what exactly it is we want (and saving for it of course) so will still be camper-less at the Social but we're very much looking forward to getting to know the group and hopefully having a bit of a poke at the various campers.

We're being hidden away round the back of the barns as we're not a demountable and the site was pretty much full by the time I booked us in, but we intend to be as much a part of the social drinks and BBQ'ing as we can!

We've booked in Friday - Monday to make a nice leisurely weekend of it and hopefully feel like a real break from the daily grind.

Not far off now, can't wait!

I am disappointed to say I can now not attend the social due to a family commitment

I have a pitch booked for Friday and Saturday nights if anyone wants to take it over.

PM me and I will sort out transferring the booking.

Just a note barn farm access

So we all get there in one piece, be sure and follow their advice on access using that B-road, Steve pointed out the other possibly more direct looking route features both narrow road & overhanging branches,
so that's scraped panels and ripped off solar panels in one go

bring you own burgers & sausages etc, as the ideas of mine was a bit late in suggesting I buy enough

We've decided to stay on for the Sunday night & make it a longer break. I've got me bbq, burgers & liquid refreshments ready, not forgetting my all important name tag ;)
Looking forward to putting names to faces, so please don't forget your tags, as I have a memory like a bleeding sieve

See ya all soon Folks :)

I won't be going home on Sunday but I wont be staying at the camp site. Will be finding a spot in the North of the Peak District.

I'm looking forward to Saturday too.

Off-site visitors

all good with Barn farm for you to come and meet up with us,
Michelle tells me for those of you coming in for 'a couple of hours" go ahead, if you plan to spend all day there though they have a nominal charge of £2 per head which seems reasonable,

next time I'll make sure there's space for everyone, add some catering and we can discuss anything else you'd like too
