Navara & Ranger outfit on E-Bay
Re: Navara & Ranger outfit on E-Bay
I always ran the Mazda without the tailgate when loaded and have done the same with the Mitsubishi, never weighed it but it obviously saves overall weight and i'm at the top end for spare carrying capacity.
I was just really curious about if all are Ranger's built to a set size depending on pick up truck style, Double, King/Spacecab or Single?

Quick question for Keith reference the matching of a De-Mountable to a Double Cab.
Is the Hi-Lux and Ranger on page 235 of the campers for sale page, correctly matched and it doesn't appear to have the tailgate on either?

My Ford Ranger (2005) tailgate is 14.5 kg.
Re: Navara & Ranger outfit on E-Bay
Hilux was a little more I think, but its the effect of having that just as far back as possible, then lowered so even a bit further back,
Mines on between tips right now to restrain some materials I'm hawking around otherwise off for summer, fit a bully net unless someone has any goal netting you can string across gap on bungee's
that works well to keep muddy boots from falling off

Discretion forbids me to pass judgement on a rig for sale. My advice would be to take a good look at the clues.mjb666 wrote:Quick question for Keith reference the matching of a De-Mountable to a Double Cab.

1. Does it look wrong? If so, walk away
2. Does the rear of the vehicle sag? Then the suspension is not coping with the load.
3. Do the tyres bulge like they're being overloaded? If so, they are being overloaded.
Contrary to popular belief a long overcab section which extends over the windscreen is more likely to help with forward weight distribution than not. If you are worrying about the overhang just read the build thread for my previous rig. I was able to stand in the overcab structure as soon as the outer side-wall skins had been bonded and that was only 5.5mm plywood.

If you look at the last picture on the Ebay add, you see some pressure gauges, looks like airbag suspension to me.keeflester wrote:mjb666 wrote:Quick question for Keith reference the matching of a De-Mountable to a Double Cab.
