Hi everyone, new to the group. I have been using demountable campers for approximately 15 years, but in need of some advice. I have an EC6L but due to circumstances have no truck! Ideally I would like left hand drive and automatic, and this is the problem most American trucks have a tiny payload! (Why?). I have seen a Dodge Dakota at Niche marketing with LPG and air suspension that was previously used for 5th wheels. I am reluctant as yet to contact him about this truck due to the Corona virus and my current location (Ukraine) being unable to return to the UK. So I thought I would ask you guys to see if anyone has any experience with fitting a euro demountable on a Yank truck. Thanks in advance.
Simon.

Re: EC6L Truck options
You might try the German group for a little help as that market has far more US trucks amongst their members than UK.

We don't have so many of those vehicles over here as much for the fact our roads aren't wide enough or the vehicles easily fit into parking
spaces designed for smaller vehicles.
More often than not Dodge Chevrolet & Ford trucks are quite softly sprung and bought as 'Large cars' with a load bed and not really much good for carting a camper around on
good luck in your search
