Single, extra & double cab.

Hi everyone
A quick question if someone could help please.
Would I be right in saying that if a unit is designed for a double cab but you fitted it to an extra or single cab it we I’ll simply sit further forward?
Also would this make it more stable as it sits more central to the truck?
Cheers
Mike

Hi,
You *might* get away with it on a kingcab truck, I say might, as it depends on design of camper.
An SKarosser for example wouldn't because slung on underside at rear is the grey water tank, that would likely conflict with rear of truckbed or tailgate, yes you could raise camper on a home made wooden sub-frame but then you get too much height overall
so its best to buy a camper specific to truck if possible
