I answered this on a different thread, google it. Use the word "sensible"

Got mine to-day, very good service. Right, stuck it in my arm, 32%. What am i supposed to read? I can see hours of Fun with this in different situations!

Going to check my Demountable soon, i hope it's as dry as i think it is?

At 32% though you are clearly breaking new ground on personal readings,

You might want to try a few house reading first, door & window frames then some furniture see just how dried out that is before scaring yourself on the camper,

search 'damp testing caravan/motorhome' for clues but essentially the lower or more zero the better anything over (I think) 20% is regarded as firewood

Wood burner enthusiasts sometimes buy one of these to tell them which biy of the wood pile is likely to burn the best

I've only just got in from work and was excited to try it out. I tried a wooden floorboard in the house and got 8%.

Thought i'd try my arm again, i think Zildjian is trying to tell me something, i've now got four small pin holes in my arm from earlier. Does Blood contain water? I think i pressed a bit to hard, Oh well.

I bought a two pin tester as I thought it would be easier to use. Do you think the four pin would be more accurate?

My four-pin one was cheap, but a bit big and clumsy. Don't think it is any more accurate than a neighbour's two pin one, but his one slips into his pocket muck more easily. Does absolute accuracy matter anyway? - if its damp its damp.
