How do all of you that use them fix your panels down anyway I was looking at my neighbours caravan roof with him last weekend and thought he had 'L' brackets on a couple of sides then screwed or bolted down through those into roof

I doubt you'll see that panel again, some 'truther' will have found it and will be dining out on the story of finding part of an alien spaceship.

I thought Sikaflex was the norm? I know a few who swear by it.

I made up some L shaped brackets that were coach bolted to the roof on a bed of Sikaflex. These were then screwed into the aluminium frame of the solar panel so that I could remove the panel without damaging the seal onto the roof. Doesn't leak and is really strong (haven't lost one yet Rich).

L brackets on mine but sikaflex is the way to go..less holes the better
