Does anyone make a winter cover simular to a caravan cover for a demountable?

Depends what's on your roof. If you have these.fancy roof racks then there's a problem with water pooling.
Most of the cover makers will do a custom cover, but if you want to do it on the cheap and don't mind having the zipped door in the wrong place then a secondhand caravan cover will doo the job. Cling film the roof light if you have a Heike to stop it scratching.

They do, I bought one but as I found out unless you have a (caravan smooth) roof line without luggage rack, satellite dish etc
rainwater pools really quickly and sits in nice weighty volume waiting to find a way inside,

at the moment I have a plastic tarpaulin over mine outside while I wait for inspiration,

Peaky's camper is perfectly smooth on top so absolutely no issue with throwing a cover over it,
Rubberrat's though like mine, is a swimming pool just waiting for a pond liner......

This one is mine,

that roof rack (when covered with a sheet) quickly forms a shallow paddling pool

I've tried supporting a cover with lightweight wooden frame in a shallow apex,
'tenting' it with a couple of tyres in the centre and even (best but fiddly solution)

an airbag jack again centred and then inflate it once a week to throw water off

if it wasn't for the algae it collects off a nearby tree I probably wouldn't bother at all TBH

To be honest I don't bother covering mine. This is a copy of an FB conversation I had with jens at Nordstar back in April when I first bought my rig.

"Hi,

Do you sell a cover which will fit my Polar 4 whilst it is not being used. So as to keep it clean ?

Regards

Andy "

"Hi Andy, I do not like the idea of covering the camper. Often such cover is a moisture trap, wich will cause trouble. Your camper has a permanent working ventilation. One is the small "mushroom" on the roof above the bed area, the other permanent vent is the roof hatch. If you will cover these, the air in your camper could not change. In my opinion you should build a car-port or find a place in a good vented barn, rather than having the camper itself covered by something.

Regards,

Jens"

What I do do is stand my camper out of level slightly so any excess water will run off the roof unaided :geek: :geek:

I can't find a jealous smiley!

I wonder when I'll finish my 'camperport'. I laid the foundations an the block work for the post supports last summer. I may be over engineering this.

Wish I had one of those to hand, I would really like more space for my pastimes,
ideally my 'man cave' (not a euphemism) would feature;

room for camper,
room for sawbench and all my carpentry stuff,
probably a couch, certainly a disco area,
and some coffee making facilities,

maybe room for another Porsche

and the whole thing buried below ground so good for zombie attack too ;)
