Just back from a couple of days local break .
Knighton ,Craven Arms, Bishops Castle, Church Stretton . It's easy to overlook whats on your own doorstep . Stayed at Craven Arms pub, Stokesay Inn and a large free car park behind Kings Arms Bishops Castle . There is a pub up the road , The Vaults which has live music Thursday and Saturday if you are in the area And a ghost tour in Knighton on Friday evening , both of which we missed . My new lasahing system worked well.

Re: Shropshire local break
One of the things I love about having a camper is being able to visit areas that you might consider B-list. If you had to pay for a hotel you'd probably only visit places like Bath, Chester, Edinburgh, etc. But with a camper, because it isn't costing you as much you can say "hey, that bit of the country that is often overlooked appears to be nice, let's spend a few days there".
