Re: Parking...which are we?

Ooo the severn bridge tolls were the bane of our lives when we had our demountable ! we wrote to them to explain that the pick-up was indeed a commercial vehicle, but once the demount was attached it could only be classed as a motorhome for domestic and social use. We even called in at their offices...

Re: Ey up!

Nolan was advertising one not too long ago that was the same as the one in Yorkshire and described it as a special order by someone who wanted to tour Morocco. Don't know if it actually sold. http://i62.tinypic.com/15xvle0.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/f2som0.jpg Wales at the moment is windy and wet, m...

Re: Ey up!

Hi Chris, As a former owner of an EC6 skarosser which is almost the same as the one you have mentioned, I am sure this is a special edition as they definitely have a bigger bed in the luton which was a luxurious king size and it was such a bonus not to have to make that up every night, especially if ...

Re: Rear awning

The Kampa Rally 200 may suit as a rear awning , check out the dimensions on the website. We actually bought one last year but never got round to trying it out as we sold the camper a bit quicker than we thought. It is now stored unopened until we can try it on our current motorhome. We always used a...

Re: Hill parking problem solved

I'm very impressed with all the adaptations that are appearing, those curtains under the luton area were next on our list. The curtains mentioned on our demountable unfortunately were bog standard beach windbreaks not special at all ,but they were very useful to hide all the junk we stored under the...

Re: My tale of Woe

Hmm. that sounds very much like a similar situation of a friend of a friend of mine, they had a ec7 skarosser on a fairly new navara , but on holiday a couple of years ago they noticed the truck and camper looked lopsided and assumed it was their packing was causing it, but as it turned out the back...

Re: No Motorhomes !

I didn't realise the extent of the motorhome invasion till about 5 yrs ago when we visited a local seaside town in the school holidays. All along the seafront there were nose to tail vehicles of all descriptions with the doors open and kids running about, people having a nap on their beds, making fo...

Re: How best to

Well I think we've come across the types you are referring to, but I hate to tell you we are equally capable of bringing out our mis matched and patched up chairs , our rusty bikes and general heaps of things which might be useful.Oh and no cardigans either or daily mails ( except ones others have l...

Re: New Members - First Post Info

So many things influence choices, this one is made to give us the options of taking one or two of our grandchildren away occasionally, since we retired early there has been a family explosion currently at no. 5 . so this gives us more circulation space inside , we may regret it as only one night wit...
