A European Adventure
I bought one of those yesterday. An Adventure 750DL King Cab. Great layout and they're fairly fully loaded.

Couple of members owned them originally and yes they offer a lot. Look forward to hearing how you like it and see your pictures too

Picked up my demountable today.

Yes, it's sitting on pallets on the tub, because it needed to be raised to clear the roof of the cab. A friend and myself will build a structure in the back to accomodate this, that then also can double as a water tank.

hi,
yes sub-frame is necessary in the case of any camper not LR specific.
Manufacturers like SKarosser or Tischer add an extra band of height all way around campers 'waist' to boost height of overcab

Hi fetched my new Easy Camper 8R this spring. Had problems with my td5 and got only 1/3 of the way home. Motor sorted now ( new turbo, sensors, clean injectorseats, new filterbracket etc..) and ready for vacations :)

I chose light birch, white tables and dark grey cushions. Looks very open and lots of light.

It will take some time to get used to. We used ground tents in Iceland for half a lifetime and generally a rather primitive setup. We then bought a light off road camper trailer (akin to combi-camp) but more clearance and a shell of fibreglass (for the rivers in Iceland). Used that for 6-7 years in both Iceland and Norway, where we live now. Gave it to the kids and bought the Easy Camper.

The Easy Camper is a large step up in luxury and a genuine 4 season capability. But off roadability is somewhat compromised (weight and clearance) although I would not hesitate to drive almost every mountain road in Iceland with the Defender and camper.

Added, I'll take some of ours at weekend when we are away (and it's tidy)
