L200 Air suspension kit

Post: # 26846Post alanr

I was looking to fit a rear air suspension kit on my L200 & have found a very reasonably priced kit from Milner Off Road for £263 inc vat which seems a lot cheaper than anyone else. The kit is here:
https://www.milneroffroad.com/mitsubish ... 8k/SU0108K
Any thoughts?

Nothing peculiar or different in chassis rail on yours compared to crewcab is there? if it looks the same in that area I'd risk it

maybe a call to Milner see if they've seen one fitted to clubcab

I don't think so but I'll check, certainly seems good value. Thanks for the reply.

Have bought & fitted the above kit but there is no guidance as to what pressures to inflate the air bags to, any advice?

Truck without camper; 1-2 PSI (to prevent damage to air bags)
with camper, as low as you can to improve the ride
typically mine for example are maybe 35PSI

think we had a survey somewhere I'll see if I can find it

Thanks, what would be the safe maximum? The instructions say to inflate to 50 psi to test for leaks.

Well essentially you don't want to be above 50 (or really above 40 I'd say)
air bags soften the ride a lot ✔
correct headlamp angle ✔

but exert a lot of pressure on small area of chassis rail where that pressure wouldn't normally be ✖
so always go with minimum you can live with

I see you bought these how are you finding them?
Did you fit them yourself easy enough to do?

Thanks in advance
