Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
I did another of these Skylights I'd buy a bag of these first and not mess about with supplied screws

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Especially after lengthening the bed frame to sleep North/South it would have to be a valuable addition for light & air yes,
being able to get at PV panels and connectors on roof (and clean some inaccessible bits too) is an unexpected bonus

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
A sunroof-skylight looks a relatively easy job in those pictures and that must make it so much nicer to be in over this hot weather

Great description with loads of photo's
Good job Zildjian.

Footnote; SUCCESS!
During the biblical rainfall here in last hour I've been laying on bed in camper anxiously watching for leaks in my Heki handiwork and its FINE, reckon if it will repel a storm like that it should survive nearly anything

Zildjian,
I have made provision for 2 x 400mm square, One above the table, one above the chef with a 280x280 in the shower room. I must admit yours does look interesting

Looks like getting a further 'testing' over coming weekend, so I'll be out inspecting ceiling with lamp for leaks

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Zildjian, where do you find these for £20?zildjian wrote:So, fancied a bit more light & ventilation over bed area for awhile, a Heki came along at right price it had no fitting kit but they are easily available online for around £20
How high off the roof do they stand and would you gain a couple of inches standing height when your'e underneath it?
Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Hi, mine was an Ebay in this instance, are you having problems finding any?
I do still have the original (short) kit if they are of use
