A Friend of mine has made me up a new rear fold away step.
screen shot on pc
It sits nicely out of the way once folded up.

It pulls round from underneath.
The arms pivot round and fix onto the studs at each side.
And is all held in place with the spring loaded catches.
Works an absolute treat. Really pleased and impressed. Thanks again Luke.

Nice near job Luke's carried out there, wish I could weld as smoothly as that
I'll share the pictures on FB page as well

Good idea and nice bit of welding so was it your design or your mechanic friend
(looks useful whoever it was)

I had a slightly 'wobbly' & heavy step so asked my Mate Luke if he could make me something better?derestrictor wrote:Good idea and nice bit of welding so was it your design or your mechanic friend

I left the De-mountable with him for a couple of weekend's and he made me the new rear step and fitted my new rear stabiliser's (shown in another thread). All done with him having a think & making it up as he goes.
I can claim no input at all. I just asked?
Mike.
