Hello, does anyone have a Tischer 260SD?

Hi,

I just joined, I live in Hertfordshire and would like to build something similar to a Tischer 260SD to go on a Navara King Cab.

Has anyone got one I can have a look at an convince my other half that its a worth while exercise.

As one to copy a 260 would be my choice too they look to offer the best option in my opinion,
is building one based on cost I only ask as based on our experience here they can be difficult to achieve that manufactured finish and indeed insure, plus some of the hardware like legs to actually demount it with difficult to source.

No it's definitely not based on cost, but If i bought one then i would have to take it apart and re build it the way I would like.

I already made a panel van conversion (Which is for sale) but now need a demountable for work on sites.

The layout in 260 as in most side doors is a bit of a trade off, I'd live with it personally but members here have mentioned the interior could benefit some remodelling,
off hand I can't think who owns that model though I could ask Golum, he's the importer of Tischer here in UK and would know.

Most of the campers owned here are the central door symmetrically arranged type we all know but We'd quite like one didn't offer a view directly at sleeping area through open door!

Tischer do sell any empty cabin, if it's the inside that you are mainly wanting to build.
