I think the camper is technically just a load. I guess it is possible that in the event of a claim the insurance company may want wriggle so it would be imperative that all truck mods are declared Eg air suspension, extra lashing points removal of tailgate etc What do people think about mentioning to the insurance company about what load you carry ?
Otherwise is it a bit like nondisclosure.

I have just informed my insurance company of the air bag suspension . They have emailed me back an updated certificate and not asked for any payment , what a nice surprise !

They've not charged me for anything extra I've called them about either
