Hiya! The name's Tom McGuigan and I'm the organiser of the Adventure Overland Show [ http://www.adventureoverlandshow.com ] at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse, Warwickshire, England over the weekend of 26-27 September 2015. It looks as if you as a group will be there as Andy is in the process of applying for a Club Display Stand, so we'll be meet up in due course.

Me I don't have a demountable, instead I have what I believe is the next best thing - a 1974 Range Rover Classic ex-ambulance.

Tom Hi, I was at your first show, was that rangie there I can't say I remember.
we are indeed looking at the options for show, seeing who might like to join us (which will decide our plot I expect)

As you're here I'll PM you later I have a couple things to ask

No, not the orangemobile, but I can tell what was there ... this!

Basically it's the same Lomas of Cheshire ambulance conversion - a 100" 2-door Range Rover Classic stretched to 110" - only difference being that the white one is 1973, the orangemobile is 1974. You saw the white one at AO'12 held at Whilton Mill Karting Circuit.

No problem Zildjian, as and when!

Hi Tom

My Defender 130 with Northstar demountable was one of the show vehicles at last years show. Really enjoyed the event and hope to be back again this year. Love your Rangie but my wife likes the additional creature comforts that the demountable offers too much!

Good stuff. As I always say, it truly is a show for 'us'.

Don't blame her, those demountables have plenty going for them. Mine by comparison is very basic, but I just love old Range Rovers. Am I touched? Probably! :?

Hi Tom, just dropping by with a friendly wave - and looking through the correspondence for the show (via Andy) to see if it is the kind of thing we as a group of enthusiasts could attend. I may need a chat shortly - I have your email address
