Hello from sunny Devon

Hey folks, just joined and have already been presented with some stickers for being the 100th member.....free stuff.....I like this place already ! I'm from Devon as the title suggests and am the proud owner of a 2005 Navara that is crying out for a demountable on the back, hopefully I'll find something suitable soon.

I have experience with nearly all aspects of vehicle modification and restoration having previously co-owned a classic car restoration and custom car garage but now work in a special school.....which is great....mainly because it gives me all the school holidays off ! Last summer I spent a month travelling France and Spain staying on Aires in a Toyota Granvia that I converted into a camper myself.

I also enjoy writing about my adventures....you'd have to be bored to read it though !

Looking forward to contributing to the club, Lloyd.

Hello & welcome to the Forum Lloyd. have a look through our page

http://www.demountablecampergroup.com/viewforum.php?f=5

We list demountables for sale from all over the UK & Europe, that's if your prepared to travel. Otherwise it's a case of sitting tight & keep clocking the usual haunts like eBay & Gumtree. Any questions in the meantime, then just fire away ;)

Yes we offer a complete free digest of UK sales together with near European sales too,
A very buoyant market in France just now, what are your camper needs ideally?

2005 would be a D22 I imagine, I had one myself and that coped with a camper fine, better still you can normally leave the tailgate on in use (other vehicles need the gate popping off or it gets in the way)

Hi and welcome. If you're passing Cumbria and want to view Apollo, feel free to let me know, a good idea to see as many as you can before you buy.

Hi Chilldog and welcome. You'll fit right in here. Look forward to your future posts.
Your background shows you'll be handy with the spanners and maybe you can be a source of help for other members.

Theres no such thing as a boring travel story, so why not start putting your story together.

You'll be used to smaller campers with your Granvia, was that a Wellhouse conversion or one you built yourself/?
