Willyuk finally says hello

Ok, under pressure from Peaky, I have finally gotten round to posting an introduction.
We ( Virginia and I ) succumbed to a demountable last year when we were snared ( in the nicest possible way) by Clare and Darren at the Peterborough show in spring. We finally took the plunged and "invested" in our Bimobil Huskey in July. So we haven't managed any real big trips so far. We went off o Spain in November and returned this Saturday with a short christmas break back here in the UK. Had a fabulous time and for me the best bits were the mountains and the incredible gorges that one can drive through. Wild camping is the order of the day, only visiting service areas for the infamous loo and water regime. We spent some time in the sun on the coast but its busy and full of other motorhomes. I prefer the wilds and isolation
So there we are HELLO!

Didn't Peaky mention Pictures are compulsory too :D

well Hello in any case to you both, We don't have a lot of Bimobil folk here yet lovely though those camper's are.
been reading your comments on quads, and inclined to agree, I wouldn't buy one myself and the professionals all told me the same on the insurance, even one person mentioned having to attend a proper PPL course (although abbreviated) into a couple of days,
whereas conversely you or I could walk into a toyshop buy one and launch it in local park without issue
(until there's a problem) with impunity

Hello & welcome to the forum Alan,

"under pressure from Peaky"...... Me Sir? No not I Sir. I would never do such a thing ( well maybe a little ). It's good to see you "finally" say Hello & the good folks on here are looking forward to seeing the photos of your rig especially if they're in Spain ;) Some inside shots would also be great :)
I'm sure you'll probably still have some questions even though Darren is very knowledgeable & perhaps told you everything you need to know already.

Hello to you both and welcome to the group. Kathy and I do much like yourselves, wildcamping and making the very occasional stop to service the plumbing. The mountainous regions of Spain are great favourites for us, especially in Aragon, and in the Picos Di Europa. K33F

Welcome! A Bimobil owner eh? That'll wipe the smug smile of the faces of us SKarosser owners. Seriously outclassed.
Pics as soon as you can please..
