Email from Breakaway;

"Hi just found and joined the group this is my self built unit on a Transit double cab built in 2002 and still using.
Have built 4 in the last 25 years and and have worked very well for me as when working i was a Carpenter & Builder so used the truck all the time.

Gallagher and Lyle??

Hi we are just further down the coast in Dorset and regularly head to the continent from Portsmouth. Your rig looks rather larger than the normal double-cab pick up units!

Welcome to the group.

Hi mike will see if i have a picture some where of it demounted,its the same as all the units , and my lifting legs are electric.
You can see the rear two in the picture and the front brackets but the legs i carry in a side locker.
the rear legs i leave in place as i can lift mt self level on site.

Hi Martin
yes we are not to far away from you,we are often in Dorset. The camper is much larger than a standard pick up,the first one i build was on a small mazda single cab pick up the second on a vauxhall the third a Nissan Cabstar flatbed and now the Transit.The double cab came about as we had four grandchildren in three years as it has 7 seats with seat belts.

Thanks for the welcome Dave
