My name is Claude and I live in a small village called Saint Georges sur Eure close to Chartres in the department of Eure et Loir (France). I'm 58 and I'm an automotive technician.
I bought my first demountable in 2001 : L200 + Holidaycar Aventure (made in France in Eighties)

My actual demountable : Nissan D22 + Tischer 260. I bought it One year ago.

My wife and I travel during our vacation, In France when we have got 3 or 4 days off & in foreign countries for our summer vacation.
Last summer we went to Italy visit the Cinqueterre ( close to Genova) Currently I'm learning English and it's a good exercise for me to read and write in this forum.
If you visit France, it will be a pleasure for us to meet a demountable owner at home.

Hallo Claude, do you belong to a French group or forum as well, the truck camper seem to be more popular almost anywhere outside England

Yes, I belong to the French group " Tortue de Félix". Link is : http://latortuedefelix.fr/forum/portal.php
I think it's the most alive forum and you can find in it a lot of items about technical, home made , travel etc
You have to register for access at the whole forum. Of course, it's in French, use Google traduction ....

Peakymon asks for pictures of my Tischer :

Votre anglais est bon mon ami. L'intérieur de votre Tischer ressemble vraiment élégant & je suis satisfait du côté entrée porte ainsi qui la rend différente de l'habituel arrière de porte d'entrée aux campeurs.
Je suis en train d'utiliser un site web traduire, veuillez donc ne pense pas que le français écrit est mon propre ; -)

Your English is good my friend. The inside of your Tischer looks really sleek & I'm liking the side entry door as well which makes it different from the usual rear entry door campers.
I'm using a translate website, so please do not think that this written french is my own ;-)
