Newbie saying hi !

Seen the link on HPOC so thought i would drop in and say hello. Been having thought about building a demountable for my mk6 DC for a while now. Having a look in the DIY section and liking the GRP laminate in the french site, never though about that before and very impressed with the idea.Been hankering with the idea of recycling a Romahome camper off a Citroen C15 and making it fit but I think starting afresh with the GRP insulated panels will give me the scope to build something more fitting to the Hilux lines :D

Hello and Welcome! I'm sure some knowledgeable people will be along shortly to offer advice. If I had the time I would love to build one myself.

Good morning and hi,
Yes thought we'd add a link on Toyota owners site as like most pickups, ther's a common idea about fitting a camper as well.

That DIY on 'casa trotter France' looks really professional doesn't it.

More commonly in wood, I found that one being put together and wanted to share it here,
so be sure and take lots of pictures as you (when you) get started. :D :D

Don't know where you are, but if you wish we can probably find a member nearby to go and look at their camper for measurements and ideas

My fill valves are inside the cab behind the nearside rear seat. That way they don't get full of dirt plus the 12v compressor is located under the same seat so all that bit of kit is together :)
