Nice neat job.
Looks on a par with what we had to deal with. Ours had spread right across from toilet side, round the back under the door frame etc round to the other side. All fixed now hopefully :)

Ah Finade hi, looking at the pictures I suspected yours looked worse somewhow, and you had that issue with the electrics too didn't you.

Haggis though, I'm not sure the 'finished' picture is before or after either (just the order I hosted them sorry)

Hi all,
Sadly the completed shot is a before photo. I'm still working on the camper. Next job is to replace the 20mm polystyrene with Kingspan before reshaping and refitting the ally skins. All the rear light wiring is toast too so I've got that to sort but hopefully it shouldn't be too complex. Considering a Webasto (or similar) diesel heater in place of the gas fire type thing that's currently fitted? Does anyone have any experience with these?

Oh and I need to 'widen' the stance of the legs so I can reverse a bigger modern pick up under and load the camper. I did this temporarily to move it when I bought it but it was VERY Heath Robinson.

Relax Matt you've found a friendly group here, we don't assess your suitability,

Thanks for the offer. I read part of your posts last night and it made me feel more normal! In fact I'm now so comfortable with uncovering wet Weetabix that if I won a brand new camper I'd have to leave it to rot a while before enjoying it............. ;)
When I was buying stuff for the repair at a Motorhome repair shop they told me that they often repair rotten floors on brand new unregistered motorhomes and vans so not only old ones suffer this, that made me feel better at least.

Good luck

Hi Haggis,
Nice job, is that your truck with the Deepdale logos on it? Or pics from before you got at as I know a bit about that place. (see my broken down VW camper pic on whatever thread that was recently)

Hi Rubberrat,
No the truck belongs to a mate who's daughter runs the site. He had the truck stickered up for a bit of free advertising for the site. He tells me it's a good spot but then I guess he might be slightly biased?!
