Hi Haggis100, welcome to the club and the world of demountable owners. I too had a rot problem see my thread
'oh no, what's happened';

viewtopic.php?t=103

agree yes its always difficult to gauge any problems when you buy these things. Anyway sounds like you have got the repairs underway. When I replaced the wood on mine I gave it a couple of coats of water sealer before anything else, which I hope would help just in case any water gets in there again, which I hope it doesn't! If I can be of assistance dont hesitate to PM me if you want

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the offer. I read part of your posts last night and it made me feel more normal! In fact I'm now so comfortable with uncovering wet Weetabix that if I won a brand new camper I'd have to leave it to rot a while before enjoying it............. ;)

Is that a euphemism or are we actually talking four rotored choppers?

Specifically one with a camera,
now I'm guessing from the pictures I just received, you didn't use one there but I need someone handy with just such a machine

and yes I'm just doing your stuff to put here now :D

Thanks for posting them. Not the worst rot you've seen and not the size of repair seen on here.
