Hello from JudgeMental (Eddie)
HI from a grey London.....Rubberrat invited me to look in and join the chat. I'm an ex demountable owner, now more into panel vans, I had a few of the Swedish Easycampers demountables (Nordstar in Germany) on a few trucks ( Mitsubishi/Ford ranger). I did contemplate going back to one recently but the wife was having none of it! . I would have happily ignored her objections but for the need to carry 2 expensive ebikes without a lot of hassle...so bought a new van instead . Trucks were good when I was younger and VAT registered, retired now and like the creature comforts...but my experience might come in useful

Good afternoon Eddie
we've been expecting you
I expect you'll get a few questions in due course on demount's but while we're waiting tell us about the van

Hiya Eddie, welcome to the group. Sounds like you're a dyed in the wool camper-er. This is a great small informal group and everybody gets along great. Looking forward to reading some of your experiences. K33F

Might be from the magazin, although not been there awhile.
Mark said 'out & about' although both present and former demount owners are bit thin on the ground we search high and low for all of you

Welcome Eddie. Incidentally I have gone the other way from you. I used to run vans and I switched to demountables.

Re: Hello from JudgeMental (Eddie)
probably have photos somewhere but pre digital..so will have to dig them out and scan i guess, and with the boxes of old photos we have that may take a while......
EDIT: I think I could be more use if you added panel van conversions to the forum name...I also think it would have a far wider appeal, demountables are such a tiny niche market ...maybe even e bikes
A general European travel demountable/van discussion group, that did not include boring coachbuilts would do well when the word spread I fink.....More and more people are downsizing.

Yes a niche market certainly and without listing everything in the banner we welcome all genre of campers (but pikie-palace's)
so we need to find a bit of cyber-space somewhere between tent-people & Hymer owners to dwell
Probably get spammed by the CC now I expect along with the Soviet handbag industry
