Hello everyone!

I’m just looking at a demountable opportunity at the moment. I’ve had campervans and small motorhomes previously and have driven a Toyota Landcruiser for the past 8 years (recently traded in for a “boring” Honda CR-V). So I’ve lots of questions!
Where’s the best place to get information on steps, hook up, insurance, pros and cons prior to purchase? Thank you.

Right here actually,
we have the constantly updated sales thread for campers both UK & Europe, a look on our index page will answer most of your basic questions anything else just ask here,
no question too stupid, lots of new owners and experienced people to help

Saying hello as well, we are considering moving from van to pickup & camper though looking at the used on offer in this country offers only a little choice, both like the tischer design but wondering if a pop up roof might be better long term
(still weighing them up at this stage)

Having recently moved from a very basic van to a demountable I am delighted with it. Decent big bed, good headroom and a toilet with shower, luxury! Spent Five nights in a row in it with no problems, more would have not been a problem except water and battery running low.

sounds like you're having a good experience of ownership Gordmac, how much water do you carry at present
We have always found carrying an extra 20 litres in plastic jerry can type thing extends camping a day or two (if used sparingly)

also have you got a picture of what you have bought?
