Checkin' in

Hello,

I came on the group by accident but found it helpful and informative so joined.

My wife and I bought a Northstar 700 + a D-Max Blade (seperate buys) last October and instead of waiting for the "season" have been away for 5 trips so far including Chjristmas & New Year - no wild camping as yet... We're based near Oban on the the west coast of Scotland and have not ventured out the country but there is definitely a notion to get out a lot further.

I've enjoyed the discussions on tie downs and best methods and have had the first problem with the expiry of one of the Happijac motors - now removed and stripped and hopefully repaired for our trip to Aviemore this w/e

Look forward to hearing of the adventures/problems of others and any advice given.

Best to all.

P & S

Hi & welcome P & S,

We try to get up to Mull at least 3 time a year with our rig using Calmac from Oban more regularly since the RET kicked in :D
So maybe we'll catch up some day :?:

Any questions, then just fire away ;)

Looks like we're neighbours in the Scottish sense, only about 100miles away from you here in Carradale. Hi and welcome.

Originally from just south of Oban (Ardfern) so up that way with my D Max and Tischer pretty regularly. Maybe an Argyll meet-up some time!
