Demountable campers for sale
This is what Finade made up for their Apollo
"We attached two steel plates (230mmx60mmx6mm bent into shape & painted) to the existing step mounting.
Then bolted a stainless steel towel rail (Ikea ) to the plates.
Cut holes in the top of the steps and inserted the rail. Secured & removed by two 6mm bolts.
Folded up against the camper door we secure by a bungee attached to the cycle rack mounting points.
The design keeps the treads level at any height. But as Fiona mentioned, it could do with a locking device to prevent the steps from moving"
This is the Mk1 version. Total cost £30.00, 6kg. Alloy steps for the Mk2 version.

They're supplied with the Skarosser's from the factory, so Golum from {censored promotion} would be your contact for a set.Phoenixsp1 wrote:Where do you get the folding ladders from like this?
He's just had a delivery of spare parts for some of the folks on here. I got a new pair of running lights from him last week

Very clever, where do you get the steps from or did you make them?
Re: Demountable campers for sale
and these that Fiona & ade have made up from some off the shelf steps look to behave in pretty much exactly the same way my skarosser's do for a fraction the price I'd imagine

We purchased the steps off Amazon. We had to alter them slightly.
