Chassis mounted camper brackets

Here an owner has bracketed directly off the chassis and has the tips of each bracket vertically up through slots in tub in each corner,
Traditionally people have used four eyebolts in tub and hooked down to that, this method I feel is much better all around as directly off vehicles chassis, most trucks chassis rails have odd holes punched in them doing nothing so its sometimes possible to attach brackets directly through them

Yes they could be an obstruction in loading for example a pallet say, but the benefit for camper security looks to outweigh that

Actually, I don't think they would impede the carriage of a pallet, they probably provide great tie-down points for all kinds of load.

I like them ,nice strong and simple . I find my extra eye bolts really useful for tying down stuff.

That's a really nice idea funnily enough the thought went through my mind the other day cut a slot or biggish hole for a strap to go through to the chassis and then fix in some way for me only would need to be at the front. Are there any pictures of how those brackets mount to the chassis?

Personally I've not had an issue with eyebolts in all this time but I know others have, as in ripping a tub apart and bending it in an area local to the bolts,
and no I don't think the brackets would hold me up much either given the benefits

Belt & braces approach, good :P good plan I would think too Im not even sure they would be in the way of a pallet anyway
