This is a "super-cab" (2007 Ford Ranger):
You get less cab space but more load bed than a double-cab. This importantly means that more of the camper's weight is carried forward of the rear axle.
I didn't need the folding rear seats so removed them to make more storage:
Gave me enough space to carry a 2nd spare tyre for the desert (I don't usually carry 2 spares - I really don't want the extra weight):
