That's why I decided to wait a while and ask Greg to bring them over for me. If any thing goes wrong with them I have somewhere to go for recourse.

By the way - has anyone got the Star Trek-named 'All terrain landing gear' for a Glowstep?
If so - where from? Seem to be like hen's teeth.

Hi Chris
just noticed that you have ordered the 3 step version of the Glowsteps, you sure they will reach high enough? We find our 4 step version are about right but sometimes with a sloping pitch, an extra step would be handy to keep em level. 3 steps seem a bit short. Look at the picture link in my previous post.

Chris;
"Our Glowsteps arrived from the US six days after ordering - there were no further charges, so they cost exactly what was stated on Amazon.com - £197.07 inc. delivery and taxes.
I went down this route as Niche Marketing were advertising the same steps at £175 on their web site but that turned out to be £275 when I enquired by phone! Didn't like that.
My experience of dealing with US companies has been good - ordered some tyres a few years ago and all worked well.
I could only get round to fitting the steps today. They are just right:

They look extremely well made and are a huge improvement on the single step we started off with.
Highly recommended.

Chris"

BTW those image files are a bit strange hmmm

They look good Chris,
thought I read somewhere there was a handrail of sorts although I don't know how that might work

the fiamma security thing fitted there doubles as a handrail when folded 'open'

(then across the door when closed)

Torklift do make a handrail for the steps, and a petsafe system and a pair of adjustable legs for uneven ground. We're happy with what we've got and, as Des points out, the Fiamma security lock doubles as a handle.
