What experience does anyone have with hardtops when not using the demountable ? I am told that they can be quite heavy and difficult to get on and off. Any makes that are lighter than others ?

hello

I've had a variety of them over years and they've become heavier, some of us with space have devised various methods to handle them, If I actually bother with mine over Winter I grab a passing neighbour normally or maybe leave it at work,

others use rope and tackle, or an engine hoist with enough reach there is a version of the hoist pokes inside open tailgate and lift the ceiling of hardtop but they all need space to drop it off of course
