Any particular make & model of towing mirrors do you guys recommend?

I'm thinking that these Milenco Grand Aero's look pretty good?

I use those ones on my Ranger and have found them OK, though Peaky had problems with them vibrating on his Navara and had to go for another solution.

We have these and find them very good. We have a Navara and there is a bit of vibration but I just put a small support under the truck mirror to stop that.
Someone in the group has installed electrically extending mirrors (from North America) - if you search the forum, you might find the pics.
I suspect someone will be along shortly to tell you that you do not legally require them since you are not towing. However, we like having them.

I have used these cheap(ish) towsure rock steady mirrors since buying my camper nearly 12 months ago.

They have done about 250 miles on a Navara and about 5,000 on my ranger with no problems at all.

They have even survived encounters with a white van man and a blind bus driver.

I'm with Black Countryman - I've got the same Towsure mirrors and they are very steady. Previous mirrors I've had vibrated and would not hold their position at speed.

I've not bought mirrors yet. My Amarok is wider then the average truck and the mirrors already half stick out beyond the camper. I don't want to put any of the extra mirrors on that I have seen so far. I'm worried that I will be clipping them the whole time and not only breaking them but more expensively the mirrors on the truck. The lanes round here are narrow. Has anyone come across some really small narrow ones?

I've tried some convex ones just stick on to the mirror to remove the blind spot but actually work quite well bought one in a French motor way service for a couple of Euro to replace the passenger extension mirror which fell of after a few miles on arriving in france back in the summer.. bought a larger version at Camperex in Sept so probably on the Internet

A convex mirror is a good idea, I wonder how good of a view you would get with a full convex mirror.

Toshbins, I know that VW dealers sold a full size replacement convex mirror glass for their Transporter T4, maybe they do them for the Amarok?
