Re: HappiJac 4150
One of mine failed . They have a large nylon "nut" at the top . I dismantled it and investigated repairs . Happijack would not supply me and remaking wasn't cost effective. I bought a new one from Niche Northstar dealer 01507 327172 . I think £270.
I prefer not to use the motors too much , it is too easy to go too far . Doing by hand you can feel when they are struggling .

Re: HappiJac 4150
You can get it apart by relieving the staking at the top of the leg . It will come apart , but it is a fight , but I don't know how that will help you unless you think it would weld back on. Be careful , there is a square plate around the threaded bar at some pint which is supposed to jam the leg if it fails .I can't remember where it goes and its easy to not see .

Paul, you might find Niche Marketing ( if they still call themselves that) might be of assistance. I had an overextended Jack and the engineer was able to relocate the thread after a while.
Re: HappiJac 4150
I forgot to update on this but a local engineering company sorted me out. I rebuilt the jack and it works perfectly.

Paul can you tell me what the upshot was on this leg in the end?
