Passable cover of Floyd 'heart of the sun' rest I could have done better myself with a washing machine accompaniment I reckon

We were wondering (Well i was wondering) how it was working out with new toy there, welding ally is difficult to do or so i am told so good luck and keep practising

Initial attempts were poor to rubbish (1/2hr)
Second attempt, much improvement especially on the thicker section spars.(Pictures and explanation in the build thread)
Yesterday even better. So much so that the welds are strong enough to start in earnest
Well that was the plan.
I have suffered what I consider "a Charlie Chaplin incident".
I have been suffering for the last week or two with sciatica
. This back type pain caused me to walk with a bit of a limp. In limping down my garden steps I slipped and twisted my ankle causing mild swelling. Then, to cap it off, with back pain and a swollen ankle, limping with the dog in the country park, I slipped and fell against a tree( to save myself) only to sprain my wrist
So, although I believe I will be able to start welding the frame work, it will have to wait until I stop feeling sorry for myself.

Just driven back from local farm shop where there Zero; bread, Zero; veg
