Chassis strength
Re: Chassis strength
I am working in Middlesbrough today . There was a piece on the ITV local news about Navara snapped chassis . They featured a local guy pulling a caravan that broke . Apparently an MP has spoken in the house of commons asking for a recall
Re: Chassis strength
Nissan customer service policy seems to have finally hit the fan this week

GOOD!
Re: Chassis strength
I'm a member of the Snapped Chassis Facebook group and have been watching the progress.
My Navara is in for it's MOT at the end of this month and the garage has been asked to have a really good look at the chassis, over and above what is required for the test. They are very helpful and have promised an honest appraisal.
Let's see?

Re: Chassis strength
big failure like this ultimately reaches a journalist and makes good copy, if Nissan hadn't been steeling themselves for beating thats their own fault,

I was a Nissan owner for awhile and a victim of their last catastrophic design fault (Bearings) so sympathise with owners this time around
but I'd rather buy reliability than heated cup holders
