Condensation

Just wondering if others suffer with condensation with the colder nights?

We had a cold night on Sunday and with 4 of us and the dog sleeping in the camper there was quite a lot of condensation in the morning and some in the cupboards.

We didn't have any heating on overnight so maybe they didn't help but I'm wondering if others suffer with the same problem.

We think there's am issue with a couple of people and their dogs doing all breathing overnight, poking the walls with a moisture meter somewhere near your pillows shows a reading (where there's Zilch elsewhere,
(well there is, but that corresponds with where the kettle stands)

Suggest just like in car over winter buy a bag or two of silica gel, then take it and dry it once a week

We never had an issue in the caravan but that's a much bigger space and better ventilated at floor level

The demount is a sealed box pretty much the next night was better with all the windows on the vent position.

It will be interesting to see what it's like in the depth of winter as I don't plan on not useing it over winter.

Well it would need 'some' ventilation of course are you covering it as well?

The only option really is the windows on vent.

I was away in mine last week, cold and damp at night. I have a 500w frost heater on low and skylights slightly open but the area at the front of the overcab bed was running with condensation. I have those damp traps in the cupboards and wardrobe and have now got a dehumidifier for the main area. See what happens this weekend!
