coming back for a second series on C4 presently,
Loved the first series Les Revenants' focusing on an Eastern French town below giant reservoir, returning from the dead to their old lives,
There was a version made for the American market...

I saw a lot of series one but as much as the slightly creepy filmwork it was the theme music got me hooked, it by a Scottish band been around a little while called Mogwai and its called 'hungry face'

Anyone watching this second series here,
Confess I'm more than a little puzzled, was going to ask here about this later on in series but I'm 3 episodes in now and lost the track of just who's dead,

and more to the point what lives in that big hole in the ground

We watched S1 of this which is really quite in direction to S2
whereas pilot and series one was a slightly scary bit of fun with dead people getting shot (why) and subsequently coming back, this series has with different writers I read gone all existential, meaning of life and death the French feel they understand better than the rest of the world JP satre et al
so they all jumped into a big hole in the ground.......the end

Agreed Alex, lots of silences and loaded retorts, in an odd way coincidentally 'the Walking dead' went all meaningful a series ago, single words being handed back and forth to charactors until the episode ended

thankfully that all stopped and they got back to stabbing zombies again which is why we like it,
I noticed the returned however appeared to leave it open ended with that infant on someones doorstep but I won't bother watching it again
