TV in the camper

Post: # 8109Post Bookend

We have just come back from 2 weeks holiday ( not in the camper unfortunately)

One of the things stopping us useing the demountable for longer breaks is the lack of television and Gaynor likes her soaps.

The only thing I'm struggling with is where to fit one.

Any ideas welcome (with pics if possible)

Daytime schedule looks pretty much filled up with them already, we think there might be room to squeeze in a new one between Nick Knowles and the other Nick Knowles one early evening,

what will the concept be?

Normally too busy doing stuff for TV, but we camp lots in the winter so it's nice to turn in early when it been dark since 5pm (UK)
ours is an Avtex 12/240 on the wall by our feet in the overcab. Can be swiveled and seen from the seating (just)

Great for DVDs on the 30-odd hour ferry trip from Venice to Patras too (Picks up a bit of wierd Albanian TV north of Corfu... you don't want to miss that!

Have fitted the TV in the bed area so it can be swivelled to watch in bed or from the seating area.

Photobucket is being a bit slow this morning so pics as soon as they have uploaded.

Which TV did you go for in the end Steve and what sort of aerial/satellite & receiver?

It's an Avtec we had in the caravan with built in DVD and free sat.

We also had a vision plus aerial so only had the mounting bracket to buy.

I've run a 12v supply to it so all is good.
