Ah you see if you had a Navara there wouldn't be any need for that sun visor nonsense. You would have an HD screen built into the dash. ;)

Here are the wiring of my male plug (in parentheses : section) Tischer 260S

1- brown ( small)
2- yellow with a white line (small)
3- white with a blue line (big)
4- blue with a white line (big)
5- grey with a red line (small)
6- blue (middle)
7- white with a green line (middle)
8- bleu (small)
9- yellow (small)
10- black (small)
11- red (small)
12- white (middle)
13- green (small)

I can see the wire colors are not the same as the standard! Saturday, i'm going to match every pin with fonction!

Pity you do not live next to my house, I could troubleshoot quickly (I'm technician automation and electromechanical)
Hope, i help you

Did you ever figure out which numbered pin goes to which item on your Tischer?

I'm wondering if Tischer just happened to use different coloured wires over recent years rather than changing the function of each pin? Below is the information that I have, I see that there are some discrepancies in the colours. :?

1-brown: brake lights
2-pink: fridge
3-white & blue: earth
4-white & brown: earth
5-white: charging
6-orange: charging
7-white & red: charging
8-blue: left hand tail & number plate
9-yellow: reverse
10-black: right hand indicator
11-red: right hand tail
12-grey: fog light
13-green: left hand indicator

I'm away from home at the moment so can't check my info on that. I think we've written down which wire does what - I'll check when I get back.

I've been having fun with these wires, to make things crystal clear for me I ended up rearranging the chart into another format, it would appear that the Tischer has/needs an extra charging pin? Do I make a spur and connect the white/blue wire to pins 5 & 7 then?

I guess that the white/black & white/red wires both need to be joined to last remaining earth pin no.4

To confuse the issue further this is the scheme we finally arrived at:

Pin Circuit Wire colour(s)

1 Brake lights Brown
2 Fridge White/yellow
3 Ground White/blue
4 Ground White/blue
5 Battery charging White
6 Battery charging Blue (2.5mm)
7 Battery charging White/green
8 Tail light left/
licence plate Blue (1.5 mm)
9 Reversing light Yellow
10 Indicator (right) Black
11 Tail light (right) Red
12 Fog light Grey/red
13 Indicator (left) Green

As this does not match up with the scheme Mr. Tischer sent me I suspect they've changed the scheme(s) over the years.

When be bought our Tischer earlier in the year we decided to power it from the tow bar socket, rather than fit a socket in the front of the tub as recommended by Tischer. I think Tischer may have been using a 13 pin plug since before they were used on tow bars but they have their own wiring scheme and won't change it. Golum has to modify the extension lead that he supplies to convert the standard towbar layout on the male end, to the Tischer one on the female.

I think that you are dead right about Tischer changing the wires, below is another chart I just received, I'm guessing that it's currently up to date but who knows?

Yes, I totally agree, I decided to keep my socket next to the tow bar too. :)

Correct, his cable worked fine on my truck despite my UK 13 pin towing socket not actually containing a copper connector in hole number 12 . So the modification is obviously a 'spur' of two wires into one pin within the extension lead connector.

Lot's of information on these 13 pin sockets in general,... I never knew that the fridge needed two 12V feeds for it to work.
